How To Migrate Your Integration Engine to the Cloud

By 2020, it is expected that every health care provider will have made a footprint into cloud computing. With the new ONC and CMS regulations, API Integrations are integral to advance interoperability across health care systems. This session will provide high level snapshots of current cloud based vendors, and understand how their usages are leveraged within Iguana while maintaining privacy, security, and compliance.

Juggling Internal and External APIs with Iguana

As organizations continue to grow and scale, so do their integration needs. Having a single integration hub becomes crucial in reducing the number of integrations that are required, allowing for better control and monitoring of all traffic. This session will demonstrate how Iguana can be used for creating, managing, and monitoring APIs that clients can use to communicate with any system.

How To Rapid Scale Your Integrations Using APIs

This presentation will focus on four key concepts:

  • How to effectively integrate with multiple systems
  • How to accelerate the process of integrating between multiple data standards (i.e. HL7, X12, FHIR, CDA etc.) and different data protocols (SQL databases, web services, flat files, etc.)
  • Understanding strategies for API design and management
  • How to scale the design process using our Iguana API designer

EMR Integration Using FHIR

Approximately 82% of large hospitals are utilizing FHIR to some degree to transfer data between EMRs, EHRs, payers and vendors (ONC, 2018). This presentation discusses the current FHIR capabilities and trends that exist amongst EHR/EMR vendors and large hospitals. The Da Vinci project, an initiative that strives to promote value based care via workflows and implementation guides will be discussed as well as how the initiative leverages FHIR. Furthermore, we will discuss Iguana's integral role in the process, and how it has the ability to connect and integrate with any FHIR enabled EMR and EHR system.

Supersize your monitoring through APIs

This presentation addresses three business cases where the Iguana Monitor API can be used to extend Iguana’s capabilities to improve and adapt Iguana workflows, like monitoring and troubleshooting, and fitting Iguana into different IT landscapes.

  • Discover how to extend the capability of Iguana’s monitoring and notifications by integrating with Enterprise Monitoring Solutions through Iguana’s Monitor API.
  • Learn how to expand custom Iguana notifications by monitoring queue depth, to better understand throughput capacity and performance.
  • Explore a secure approach for monitoring on-premise, remote Iguana servers.

Opening up log insights to the outside world

Iguana’s logs contain actionable information that’s potentially useful for other applications as well as personnel who don’t use Iguana directly. The Log API can be a key conduit for providing visibility over interface status and security. This presentation will give insight into how you can use Iguana's Log API to address some common business problems and provide more visibility into data for non-Iguana users.
